• 9/26 – John 20:29 & Luke 1:45 – Do I find it difficult to accept as true things that I can’t see or otherwise sense? Prayer starter: Holy Invisible One, it is a real challenge to live a life of faith. Strengthen me and support me as I struggle to do it.
• 9/27 – Acts 15:36-41 and Acts 16:1-12 – Have unexpected events changed the course of my life and my service of God? Have “chance” meetings resulted in enduring relationships? How has the Spirit guided me to where I am?
• 9/28 – Acts 17:1-15 – Why might Paul have been so controversial while his associates were not? Do I have some “rough edges” or excesses or zeal myself? Are they a help or a hindrance in my serving Christ?
• 9/29 – 1 Thessalonians 1 – Have I ever experienced rather modest efforts on my part being blessed by God to bear substantial fruit? What might this teach me? What might it encourage me to undertake now?
• 9/30 – 1 Thessalonians 2:1-12 – What missions or work have been entrusted to me by God? Does an awareness that I am serving him make it easier for me to expend myself for others?
• 10/1 – 1 Thessalonians 2:13-16 – How have I experienced the words of Scripture as God’s word to me? How has the Word of God changed me? How is the Word of God at work in my life right now?
• 10/2 – 1 Thessalonians 2:17-20 and 1 Thessalonians 3 – Have I endured afflictions because of my allegiance to Jesus Christ? How has Jesus invited me to share his cross?
