• 1/19 – Mark 11:1-11 – Is my faith as strong amid the sadness of Good Friday as it is amid the joy of Palm Sunday? Prayer starter: Lord Jesus, help us to recognize your Presence as the true holy ground of our lives.
• 1/20 – Mark 11:12-25 – When was the last time that I let an appearance deceive me or that I saw a reality most people missed? Prayer starter: Help me, Lord, Jesus, to follow the demands of discipleship before the demands of the world.
• 1/21- Mark 11:27-12:12 – Is my relationship with Christ and the Church founded in faith or fear? Prayer starter: Come, O Holy Spirit. Fill the dark cold spaces of fear within me with the warmth of the light of your love.
• 1/22 – Mark 12:13-34 – Do I recognize that often the questions are more important than the answers in my spiritual journey? Prayer starter: Jesus, my faithful companion and brother, help me to always choose the messiness of communication over the neat sterility of separation.
• 1/23 – Mark 12:35-44 – Do I give of my abundance or my substance? Prayer starter: May I never choose style over substance.
• 1/24 – Mark 13:1-37 – Do I see Jesus amid the whirlwind? Prayer starter: Thank you, Lord Jesus, for being the unshakable and unmovable foundation for my hope.
